Visitation
The Crow Wing County Jail offers non-contact, video visitation at our facility. The self-service, prepaid communication services provided by NCIC allow incarcerated persons to stay in contact with loved ones. This interface is accessible through a free account at NCIC.com.
All visitors must set up a visitation account in NCIC. To complete the visitation account setup, visitors will need the following:
- A valid government-issued ID
- Pass a warrant check and no-contact orders check
- Submit a request for each inmate you wish to visit
- Visitation requests take up to 24 hours for review. Visitors will be notified via email whether each request was approved or denied. Once approved, visitors will be granted access to initiate video visitations.
Visits may be made from any off-site computer or the public kiosks in the jail lobby. The lobby kiosks are free, but NCIC charges a fee for all off-site visitation activity.
Appointments & Hours
Once the visitation account has been approved, visitors may log into their NCIC account during the visitation times listed below to begin a visit. Please note that inmates have specific times when they are available to visit during visitation hours. We strongly encourage contacting the inmate prior to visiting to get their specific visitation times. Inmates may be reached via text on their jail-issued handheld tablets. Inmate's mobile texting device information can be found on NCIC.com.
