The Crow Wing County Jail offers a variety of inmate phone contact options including text messaging and voicemail through Reliance Telephone.
Voicemail Line
You may leave a voicemail for an inmate by calling 218-203-9544. Inmates will be able to receive the voicemail for free, however, they will only be able to return phone calls through one of the other options listed below.
Phone Cards
You may purchase $10 or $20 phone cards for an inmate, contact Reliance Telephone or call 800-896-3201. Calls are $0.40 a minute.
Mobile Device
Inmates are assigned a mobile device after they are booked into jail. These devices allow inmates to make phone calls and send text messages. To fund these devices, please visit Reliance Telephone and add funds to the inmate's "Inmate Wallet." The inmate may use these funds for either phone calls or text messages.
Collect Calls
To guarantee collect calls from an inmate to your home or cell phone, you will need to contact Reliance Telephone to set up an account or call 800-896-3201.
