Inmate Phone
The Crow Wing County Jail offers a variety of inmate phone contact options including text messaging and voicemail through NCIC.
Calls
No incoming calls can be received except for voicemail messages to approved inmates. Each inmate will be given access to the telephones upon completion of the booking process. Telephones for private use are located in each housing area and calls can also be made from handheld tablets. Phone calls from the Crow Wing County Jail are billed at a per-minute rate, with no connection fees. Three-way calls are prohibited. The calling rates are below:

Voicemails
Friends and family can leave a voicemail for inmates at the Crow Wing County Jail by calling 1-800-943-2189 and following the prompts. The friend or family member must have previously been called by the inmate in order for the voicemail feature to be available. The cost of a voicemail is $1.50 for up to 3 minutes. All voicemails may be monitored or recorded.
Mobile Device
Inmates are assigned a handheld device after they are booked into jail. These devices allow inmates to make phone calls and send text messages. To fund these devices, please visit NCIC.com. The inmate may use these funds for either phone calls or text messages. Text messages are $0.10 per message and picture messages are $0.25 each. There is no limit on the number of messages and picture messages that can be sent to an inmate.
