COUNTY HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES FOR THE WEEK OF – AUGUST 1, 2022

County maintenance crews will perform spray patching operations on County Road 159, Monday, and Tuesday in Oak Lawn Township, and on County Road 144, Wednesday, and Thursday in Long Lake Township.

County maintenance crews will perform bridge maintenance work on the following County State Aid Highway bridges Monday and Tuesday:

  • CSAH 66 over Daggett channel in Crosslake, (Monday) and 
  • CSAH 36 over the Pine River in Crosslake (Tuesday).

Maintenance crews may be working in the drive lane and on the shoulders simultaneously, creating the need to close one or more lanes of traffic. Signing, flaggers, or portable traffic lights will control the traffic flow through these work areas.

County maintenance crews will begin mowing operations for a second time this year on Monday. Mowing will take place on various County roads through October.

Please drive alert, slow down, and be prepared for unexpected circumstances while driving near crews working.

All maintenance work is weather sensitive and subject to delay or change.
