County offices will be closed Monday, September 2, in observance of Labor Day.
County maintenance crews will continue spray-patching operations on County Road 138 in Roosevelt Township throughout the week. Crews will also begin spray patch operations on CSAH 49 (Wise Road) on Tuesday and will continue throughout the week.
Maintenance crews will be working in the drive lane and on the shoulders simultaneously, creating the need to close one or more lanes of traffic. Signing, flaggers or portable traffic lights will control the traffic flow through these work areas.
County maintenance crews will continue mowing roadway ditches for a second time this year. This work will continue throughout the week.
A County motor grader will be smoothing gravel county roads in the northern half of the county Thursday. Holmvig Excavating will be smoothing First Assessment District gravel roads Tuesday.
All maintenance work is weather sensitive and is subject to delay or change.
