[ARCHIVED] COUNTY HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES FOR THE WEEK OF – FEBRUARY 18, 2019

Road Construction

County offices will be closed on Monday, February 18, 2019, for Presidents’ Day.

County maintenance crews will perform snow removal operations on CSAH 33 (3rd St. Crosby & 2nd St. Ironton) on Tuesday and Wednesday.

County maintenance crews will perform snow removal operations on CSAH 45 (13th St. Brainerd) on Tuesday & Wednesday.

County maintenance crews will perform snow removal operations on CSAH 48 (West Laurel St. Brainerd) on Wednesday & Thursday.

Maintenance crews will be working behind the curb but may be working on one travel lane and shoulder simultaneously, creating the need to close one or more lanes of traffic. Signing, flaggers or portable traffic lights will control the traffic flow through these work areas.

County crews will also be addressing snow banks at various intersections to improve roadway sight distance.

County snowplows are ready and on standby in the event of significant rain or snowfall in Crow Wing County. We anticipate having to plow new snow on Friday. Please remember to give yourself extra time to get to your destination and please give the plows plenty of room to work.

All maintenance work is weather sensitive and is subject to delay or change.

For further Information on the county highway system, or to report a roadway issue, please contact the Highway Department at (218) 824-1110 or visit our Crow Wing County website at http://www.crowwing.us.
