The Farm Resource Guide for 2014 is now available.
It includes a variety of very useful farm business management information. The front of the guide has the most frequently requested information from county offices on Custom Rates, Farmland Rental Rates, Flexible Rental Agreement information, Farmland Sales and updated information on charges for custom feeding, commodity storage, leasing buildings and various bins rental rates with an added page for pasture rental rates.
There are lease forms for Cash Rent and Share Rent arrangements. Marketing information is included along with information from the Southwest Farm Business Management Association trends in costs. At the end of the guide is a section on Feedlot Rule Highlights and information on Manure Agreement and Easements. At the end are examples of Manure Spreading Lease and Land Application Agreement forms.
Crop rental information is available for counties with significant farm number in Adult Farm Management along with farmland sales information for all counties in Minnesota. There are many pages of information and forms which would be of benefits to the entire state
including: custom rates; lease forms; commodity price probabilities for corn, soybeans, alfalfa hay, straw, grass hay, hogs and cattle. Corn and soybean yields by county and average cash
prices for corn and soybeans is also included.
