Crow Wing County has entered into a contract with Anderson Brothers Construction for the bituminous resurfacing of County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 2 from Trunk Highway (TH) 25 to the Mille Lacs County line.
Anderson Brothers will begin reclaiming the existing pavement on Thursday, May 15th. During this phase, the driving surface will consist of gravel for approximately two weeks as crews prepare the roadway for paving. Bituminous paving is tentatively scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 27th, weather dependent.
Motorists are advised to expect delays, reduce speeds, and exercise caution when traveling through the construction area. The County appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation during this important infrastructure improvement project.
