Crow Wing County has entered into a contract with Redstone Construction for the replacement of the deck on the bridge crossing the Nokasippi River, approximately eight miles south of Brainerd.
The project will consist of providing a new bridge deck, railing, guard rail and associated items. CSAH 45 at the project location is scheduled to be closed to through traffic beginning on May 2, 2022. Traffic will be detoured utilizing CR 131, CSAH 21 and CSAH 2.
The County will post updates on social media, and the Highway Department website at https://www.crowwing.us/149/Current-Projects. Barring any unforeseen circumstances or weather related delays, CSAH 45 will is anticipated to be open to traffic in July of 2022. Final paving operations may take place after this date.
