County maintenance crews will perform brushing,
limb trimming and tree removal activities in the road right of ways throughoutthe week on various county roads including, CSAH 22 in Long Lake Township, CR 122
in St. Mathis Township and CSAH 18 in Lake Edward Township. Chipping of the smaller brush will takeplace at the sites. Crews will cut and place larger trees at the back of the
road right of ways for property owners.
Maintenance crews will be working inthe ditch but may be working on one travel lane and shoulder simultaneously,
creating the need to close one or more lanes of traffic. Signing, flaggers orportable traffic lights will control the traffic flow through these work areas.
County snowplows are ready and on standby in the
event of significant rain or snowfall in Crow Wing County. We anticipate plowing Monday and Friday. Please remember to give yourself extra timeto get to your destination and please give the plows plenty of room to work.
