County highway maintenance crews will
continue spray-patching operations along CSAH 1, from CSAH 66 in Manhattan
Beach to Evergreen Way in Timothy Township.
Road shouldering maintenance will
take place on CSAH 66 and CR 103 in Crosslake on Monday and Tuesday and on CR
134 in Timothy Township on Wednesday. Shouldering work will continue on CSAH
15 in Gail Lake and Jenkins Townships on Thursday and Friday.
County maintenance crews will be patching
potholes on various county roads on Monday and Tuesday. Crews will be pulling
over and stopping frequently on the shoulders of the roads, to perform the
patching work. Loose patching material debris may be present.
Maintenance crews will be working on
one travel lane and shoulder simultaneously, creating the need to close one
lane of traffic. Signing, flaggers or portable traffic lights will control
the traffic flow through these work areas.
Ditch mowing continues on various roads
throughout the county. Full road right of way mowing is taking place where the
ditches are not too wet. This work will continue through mid-October.
Please remember to keep all signs, including
political signs out of the road ditches for sight distance safety, so our
mowing operations are not delayed and our mowers are not damaged.
All maintenance work is weather
sensitive and is subject to delay or change.
