[ARCHIVED] COUNTY HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES FOR THE WEEK OF – JUNE 4, 2018

County maintenance crews will begin repairing culverts on the below roads this week:

·         CR 113, between Tyrus road and CSAH 2 – Monday

·         CR 159, between CSAH 8 and North Nelson Road – Tuesday

·         CR 131, at Weatherby Road – Tuesday

·         CR 106 & CSAH 36, between CSAH 1 and CR 105 – Tuesday

County maintenance crews will be washing bridge decks throughout the county on Wednesday and Thursday.

Maintenance crews will be working on one travel lane and shoulder simultaneously, creating the need to close one lane of traffic. Signing, flaggers or portable traffic lights will control the traffic flow through these work areas.

The County has contracted Tri-City Paving to provide dust control on gravel county roads.  Tri-City Paving will be applying dust control throughout the week.

County maintenance crews will be patching potholes on various county roads Wednesday and Thursday. Crews will be pulling over and stopping frequently on the shoulders of the roads, to perform the patching work. Loose patching material debris may be present.

Gravel smoothing will take place on county roads in the northeast part of the county on Monday and Tuesday.

All maintenance work is weather sensitive and is subject to delay or change.
