[ARCHIVED] CSAH 3 Detour for Culvert Replacement

The Crow Wing County Highway Department has entered into a contract with Anderson Brothers Construction for the re-surfacing of County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 3 from CSAH 11 to the Pine River Bridge in Crosslake and the replacement of a culvert at Pelican Brook approximately 1/2 mile north of CSAH 11. Construction operations are scheduled to begin on June 4, 2012 with new turn lane and bypass lane construction and miscellaneous safety improvements. Culvert replacement is scheduled to begin on June 11th.

During culvert replacement operations, CSAH 3 will be closed to through traffic from CSAH 11 to Fawn Lake Road. North bound traffic will be detoured onto CSAH 11, CSAH 39, and Fawn Lake Road and the reverse for south bound traffic. The detour is expected to last one week, weather permitting. Mainline paving operations are scheduled to begin on June 15th and will continue through June 25th. All construction operations are scheduled to be completed by June 30th. Traffic will be controlled with flaggers and a pilot car as needed. Expect delays and use caution while traveling through the construction zone.
