The County Highway Department anticipates rain, sleet and snow on Friday, November 18. County snowplows are ready and will be dispatched when plowing is needed. The heavy snowfall is expected throughout Crow Wing County making travel difficult. Snowfall rates of 1" to 2" per hour are possible. Roads are expected to have snow and ice covering them for much of the day and the wind will be strong potentially causing blizzard like conditions.
