1. Where do I get a swing-away mailbox support?: Mailbox supports are available at the Highway Department office. The cost is as listed in the current Fee Schedule, plus sales tax. Residents who have their mailbox along a county road may request installation of a mailbox support on-line under Online Services, Highway Permits. For mailboxes not on a county road, hardware is available for purchase and pick up at the office.

2. There is a dead deer, tire, appliance, etc. in roadway or ditch. Who do I call?: The Highway Department will remove items along county roads (including roads in the 1st and 2nd Assessment Districts). Please call (218) 824-1110 for removal services. For township/city roads, call your township/city official. For items along a U.S. or state highway call MnDOT at (218) 828-5700.
